06 Jul MPS signs up South East Asian Agent (2016)
MPS is pleased to announce that it has secured Mr. Ray Burring as an affiliate agent representing them in South East Asia.
In signing the agreement, Managing Director, Ivor Bryan, commented that MPS has been responding to great interest in their Glycine leaching technologies recently and have completed a raft of amenability test work on samples provided from clients located from all around the globe including such countries as Indonesia, Armenia, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Chile, Peru, Zambia, United States, and of course Australia. The suitability of a range of minerals and ore types has been established and this agreement with Ray, steps up our representation in this part of the world and extends the existing network of agents in Australia, Chile (South America), and Canada (North America).
Technical Director, Frank Trask, welcomed Ray to the extended network observing that Ray has a strong operational back ground with over 40 years’ experience in the industry across international base and precious metals projects in Australia, Mauritania, Vietnam, Egypt, South Arica, Eritrea, and the UK. His knowledge of heap leach operations and vast experience in commissioning of plants will add significantly to the capability of the team.
Metallurgical test work for the South East Asian region will initially be supported from MPS test centre at the Australian Mineral Research Centre in Perth but it is expected that as more advanced testing, piloting, and process development is required that the agency will secure appropriately certified laboratories in the region.
